Works. If you are using on a bike lift, don’t get this model, get the one without the frame struts and rubber pad instead. The bike can slide around on the smooth surface on this style. Also the little kickers on the sides are of no use, just puts the jack in the way, for oil pans, on a lift.

Pretty solid but need to distribute weight properly. No safety pin or latch but works great with a small jack stand for safety. Top plate tends to lean towards rear but placement of jack stand will correct it. Other than that it does what it supposed too👍. Might replace the jack stand with small bottle jack in near future.

It’s solid and heavy. I’m sure it can handle the 1100lbs rating however, for something that big you’d be wise to get one of the units that have a hydraulic jack and a larger footprint. Would work perfect for any dirt bike or adventure bike that is not a ‘monster’. After reading the reviews regarding the thrust bearing as being a weak link, I’d agree it’s a bit sloppy. However, as per other reviews, I just packed it up with wheel bearing grease and used the same grease on the threaded shaft before it’s first use. Works fine with the supplied handle. You could use a manual speed handle with a socket, but impacts of any kind should be avoided. I think the impact / ratcheting of those devices would destroy that bearing. It was a perfect match for my TW200 Yamaha for those frequent and messy chain lube/adjustments. Moves around smoothly on my not perfect garage floor while under load. I’d expect it to last a long time.

Works well for lifting the front end and leveling my Road Glide that weighs a little over 900 Lbs. The caster wheeled cart makes it easy to roll around the garage but does not fit under the Road Glide. I just take it out of the cart and it’ll slide under. A 7/8″ (22mm) socket on my impact driver makes it easy to lift. Easier to spin and clean the front rim, add air, change primary oil and do other work on the bike. No problem getting under the Road King with the cart since the Road King sits higher.

Very happy I bought this, has reduced hassles a lot!

he lift has a wide range of movement, starting very low to get under the frame and/or exhaust system and extends REALLY high – I’ve only used about half the range of movement as it is high enough for my purposes. The non-skid rubber mat on the surface provides a soft spot when pressed against the bike parts – I sometimes all use sections of 2x4s to get into tighter areas.

Best way to move a bike around a garage

Great quality item – I have used it to work on my Harley and my two Yamaha scooters

Seems well built out of heavy guage materials. Has a nice low profile design allowing it to fit under my lowered Harley. It has a 4in hight approximately when all the way down. I greased everything as others have suggested. But all in all seems well worth the money. I like the safety pin lock feature. When I use my impact to operate the lift it runs smooth and fast. Time will tell if it holds up.

The overall weight and dimension thescissors lift is spot on. It did it job easily and quickly. The motocycle i am fixing is about 460lbs and I stripped some of the parts off for access. Even if I didn’t the weight doesn’t even stress the 1100lb capacity. The lift easily fit under the motorcycle and the handle was easy to turn. The lift appears to be really durable and compact. It stores away really well. I used it a couple of times and the finish seems to be holding up well no scratches or anything on imparts that touches the motorcycle. This lift is a big bang for the buck!

I recently bought a project motorcycle and it’s the first street bike I ever owned that didn’t have a center stand. Unlike my dirt bikes this thing is too heavy to lift up manually onto a fixed stand so I needed a proper jack, but didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that I only use a few times a year. This is perfect. I can do it solo, sit on the bike myself and put it upright, then slide this stand underneath and turn the nut with the included wrench to lift it up. I haven’t lifted the whole bike with it but depending on the position forward or rearward under the frame rails, it’ll easily lift a single wheel off the ground at any time for service. I read a few reviews about the bearings failing or the nut getting stripped on these scissor style jacks. I don’t foresee any issues but just to be safe I did add some extra grease to the threaded rod and to the bearings just to help with some additional lubrication. An impact wrench would make this go up and down faster but honestly it’s pretty good manually and you have precise control so it’s not an issue. Price was good, motorcycle is very stable on it, and the one single reason I chose this over the other options is the included safety pin. Instead of relying solely on the worm gear there’s a safety pin that slides through both sides of the base and locks the rolling leg in place. I’m very pleased with this thing especially for the price. Five star product for sure.
